Experiential Programs (Without “Trust Falls”):
We know you’re looking for workshops and retreats that are interactive, engaging, powerful learning experiences, and fun! We believe the best learning experiences are hands-on, with minimal time spent sitting watching PowerPoints, but that doesn’t mean we want you “trust falling” off a building onto your peers! Our programs are interactive and fun without embarrassing or endangering your team.
Giving Back To The Communities Where We Work:
We donate a percentage of our annual profits to deserving local charities. In Toronto and Ottawa we support our partners at StopGap Foundation, and occasionally facilitate StopGap charity ramp-building days for our clients. All proceeds from our Culture Labx events go directly to Ladies Learning Code, a Canadian organization teaching coding to women and youth
All of our retreats include either a local charity volunteering session, or a donation to a local charity or nonprofit organization. We also hire locally whenever possible, and support small businesses.

Who’s At The Helm?
Our Founder and Lead Facilitator, Alexis Dean launched Dovetail in January 2015 after spending almost ten years working as a facilitator, trainer, and educator in 21 countries with more than 100 corporate teams and school faculties. Her years of experience, combined with her B.Ed in Experiential Education (Queen's University), Post-Grad Studies in Adult Training and Development (University of Toronto), give her a unique perspective on what it takes to build and scale outstanding company culture with diverse groups of local and remote employees.
